What is Software-Based Motion Control?

Software-based motion control is a control technology that enables the creation of advanced motion systems such as remote I/O, servo drivers, servo motors, and robots

by using only a single PC without additional hardware.

This technology simplifies the complex wiring of conventional hardware controllers and allows for expanding the number of controlled axes by changing licenses

without additional hardware as the number of control axes increases.

WMX’s Features

1.     Based on a real-time operating system, it ensures periodic and real-time control by occupying one or more cores of a multicore CPU.

2.     Open Architecture (Moventecture) enables users to develop additional functions that they need, beyond the basic motion functions included in WMX.

3.     Easy for users to develop the desired functionality using general programming languages such as C, C++, C#, VB, and Python.

4.     Obtained the highest level of EtherCAT Master Class, Class A standard.

5.     Supports communication protocols including EtherCAT, CC-Link IE TSN, MECHATROLINK-4 and while simultaneously enabling hybrid control.
